I feel so bad for the myriad restaurants around the state. I grew up inland and have fond memories of all eateries there, 99% of which were not franchises. Unique, delicious food that was not replicated elsewhere. Most of my favorite places will probably be gone if I ever get to visit. That realization hurts.
