He condemned Wahaabist extremism and praised lifting the ban on women drivers. His main criticism of MBS was his repression of freedom of the press. I think you must have misread or misinterpreted him. Please read those articles again. If you know of any that actually support your claims please post them here. I haven't found any.

But in the long run they can usually manage to install their puppet leaders regardless of whether there is democracy or not. Fomenting civil wars and coups, implementing and arranging assasinations, bribery, blackmail, threats etc. There are only a few countries which are not controlled by the USA. None of that is news to me. I am interested in Kashoggi's position though as it has not been made at all clear in MSM. It doesn't mean I approve of his murder but it does throw a different light on the matter.
